Counseling
My practice is currently full, with limited openings in my groups offered virtually for individuals in Virginia's health care professionals monitoring program. My identified area of expertise is the treatment of substance use disorders and recovery.
Certain populations hold particular interest for me. I am an approved provider for the Virginia Health Practitioners Monitoring Program (HPMP) to provide assistance to health professionals under HPMP monitoring. College students, student-athletes, those questioning their drinking or other substance use, and people in early recovery are also major focus areas of my clinical work and experience.
Licensed in Virginia as a professional counselor and a substance abuse treatment practitioner, I utilize a counseling approach that includes elements of cognitive-behavioral, reality, and person-centered theory.
